During the five day camps, students will study various aspects of rock music including playing technique, songwriting, recording, soloing, improvisation, touring, and performance. Each day will be spent analyzing a different genre of music such as classic rock, metal, punk, and pop. Students will learn songs by the artists that give each genre its distinct sound. Our performance-based teaching method will also provide plenty of onstage experience each day. A week of Rock Star Hero Camp will leave your child Rock Star with a new appreciation for music and their instrument.

“Rock Show Under the Stars” will be a collaborative show given by students from each session of Rock Star Hero Camp on Friday night starting at 6:00pm. All Rock Star Heroes will experience a dress rehearsal in preparation for the evening event and perform songs learned during Rock Star Hero Camp. So, Rock Parents, Family & Friends, bring your lawn chairs and coolers, and enjoy the show!

Learn how to apply music theory and ear training to increase your skill and spontaneity in a live performance setting. Get ready to rock! Everything you need to know is in black and white.

Terms and Conditions

1. Each camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
2. Camp tuition fees are $450 per camp. Tuition fees are non-refundable regardless of student’s attendance.
3. Balance is due at time of application. Payments can be made by cash or check made payable to Planet Rock School of Music Performance.
4. On-Line registrations will be contacted by a Planet Rock staff member to arrange for payment.
